Partner Visa (Subclass 820/801)

This visa allows the partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia. The 820 is the temporary stage, followed by the 801 permanent stage after 2 years.

Partner Visa (Subclass 309/100) – Offshore

For partners applying from outside Australia. The 309 visa grants temporary stay, with a pathway to permanent residency through the 100 visa once eligibility is met.

Contributory Parent Visa (Subclass 143)

This permanent visa is for parents of Australian citizens or permanent residents. It requires a higher application fee but offers faster processing compared to non-contributory parent visas.

Aged Parent Visa (Subclass 804)

For older parents already in Australia on a valid visa. It allows them to remain in the country permanently but has a very long processing time (up to 30 years), making it a low-cost but delayed option.

Contributory Aged Parent (Temporary) Visa (Subclass 884)

This temporary visa allows aged parents to stay in Australia for up to 2 years while they prepare for the permanent Subclass 864 visa. It is often used as a two-step pathway toward permanent residency.
